Kelly Dawn Design

Surface Pattern Designer

A beautiful space is more than what we see—it's what we feel. It's the warmth of morning light through linen curtains, fresh flowers gathered from the garden, a well-loved chair, and a cozy cup of coffee enjoyed in a quiet moment. These simple pleasures are what inspire my work. I am the artist behind Kelly Dawn Design, creating timeless surface patterns inspired by nature, beloved traditions, and the slower rhythms of peaceful living. My designs are rooted in the beauty found along old country roads, wildflowers in the landscape, heirloom textiles, vintage cottages, and the changing seasons that remind us to slow down and notice the little things. I have always loved giving old furniture new life. I'm especially drawn to upholstery and textiles, and more often than not, I find myself designing with a favorite chair or a pair of linen curtains already in mind. And if you've spent any time looking through my collections, you'll quickly discover I'm a bit of a sucker for a good pinstripe. Each pattern begins with a story and a feeling. I am drawn to colors that seem as though they have always belonged—soft greens from the garden, warm neutrals found in nature, faded florals, and earthy tones shaped by the changing seasons. My designs are created to bring a sense of calm, comfort, and timeless beauty to the spaces where we live, gather, and create memories. Through Kelly Dawn Design, I create coordinated collections of upholstery fabrics, wallpaper, curtains, decorative pillows, and meaningful accents for those who love creating beautiful, intentional spaces of their own—and interior designers bringing thoughtful visions to life for others.

I create designs meant to be lived with.

Designs that invite people to gather.

Designs that remind us to slow down and stay awhile.

Mission

Designing Beauty with Purpose

Every collection begins with a simple hope—

That the spaces created with my designs become the kind of places people naturally gather

and just want to linger a little longer.
